Cal Elite Kids

We believe that every child is a champion. We believe in providing excellent training in an environment where the child comes first. We believe that participating in athletics should be challenging and progressive, but never at the expense of fun... or a child’s self worth. We believe that sports should serve as a springboard for lifelong health and fitness, as well as an enduring source of validation and pride. We recognize that each child is unique and that each child learns in his or her own way. We understand that each success, great and small, is important.

Welcome to Cal Elite Kids.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT CAMP

What do the kids do in camp?

Lots! Each week we focus primarily on a theme or sport. We will have several rotations throughout the day where the campers will participate in every sport, activity, and game. We balance our camp day with focused instruction and fun activities. We take advantage of the additional hours that we have with our students to help them accelerate their sports training. The kids work on strength, flexibility, hand–eye coordination, and balance, as they train in tumbling, trampoline, balance beam, dance, and obstacle courses. We also incorporate climbing ropes, the rock wall (ages 6 and older), bounce houses (ages 6 and under), in-ground foam pits, parachutes and water games (in the summer).

What to wear?

Campers should wear appropriate sports attire (shorts, t-shirts, gym shoes – no flip flops) For safety reasons, we discourage jewelry, hooded sweatshirts, jeans or street pants, belts, zippers, and baggy clothing. Long hair should be pulled back – no hard barrettes.

What to bring?

Please bring a bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen everyday! Campers can also bring sunglasses, a hat, or visor if needed. Please be sure to label all belongings with your child's name.

We hold water activities from 12:00-1:00pm almost everyday…a camp favorite! Campers will enjoy water sprinklers, slip and slides, bubble fun, misters, and our gigantic inflatable water slide/pool! We also have a water play-center pool and mini slide for the younger children at camp. Our water activities are decisively designed to occur in the middle of the day, for a refreshing cool down when the kids need it most. If you would not like your child to participate in water activities, please let the front desk know upon drop-off.

Please note that we can not be held responsible for lost items.

What about lunch and snack?

Campers should pack a lunch and multiple snacks. Please make sure you provide enough food for lunch and snack (two snacks for full day campers.) We prefer campers bring water for their drink to avoid sticky spills in our facility. Also, please avoid peanut butter products and do not send in anything that needs to be prepared as we do not have kitchen facilities or chefs.

What if my child gets sick or something comes up?

If your child enrolled in camp and cannot attend, we will gladly provide you with a makeup. Please try to give us 24 hour notice.

What to leave at home?

Peanut butter products, cellular phones, iPods or mp3players.
